        Welcome to the Dream Team Creative Swap!

        In this fandom event, we want to spark some creativity among artists and writers by swapping and creating based on each other’s ideas.Everyone will detail in the sign-up form ideas (ships, pairings, prompts, tropes, etc.) that they wish to give to another person, who will then pick apart your ideas and create something based on what you give them.You may give as many ideas as you like, but the person creating will choose at least one (or more if they wish) to work from.You will also detail the ideas you wish to create, and you will be matched with someone who has similar ideas written down.The work you produce must be centred around one or more of the Dream Team, but you may include other people.Writers: You will have a minimum word count of 5k, but there is no limit beyond that.
        Artists: You are to create a fully-rendered artwork.        For transparency, you will definitely get a ship/pairing/character that will be the same as we want you to enjoy creating from what you are given, but the prompts, tropes, etc. might be different from what you put down.We will try to match up as best we can, but prompts are secondary to us when matching everyone with ideas.

        Rules/Guidelines of the event:

        • Must be respectful to all participants.

        • Fics must be at least 5k words, there is no limit beyond that.

        • Fics/art cannot include any depiction of sexual abuse/assault/underage/non-con, incest, suicide/self-harm (depressing or angsty fics are fine, but none that depict these).

        • Fics/art need to have at least 1 Dream Team member as one of the main characters or in the main pairing.

        • Minors under no circumstance can interact, request, or mention NSFW fics/art in the event. If you are found to be lying about your age, you will be removed from the event. This is for both yours and others safety.

        • We will not allow full NSFW artworks; suggestive themes are allowed.

        • Writers can write NSFW, but only if their swap allows it as we don’t want to be writing NSFW for anyone uncomfortable/a minor.

        • No AI useage allowed under any circustances. If you are found to be using AI, you will be removed from the event.

        Event Schedule

        • Sign Ups Close: March 15th 2026

        • Works Must Be Completed By: June 4th 2026

        • Posting Begins: June 6th 2026

        Frequently Asked Questions:

        Can I create multiple fics/art pieces?Yes! You don’t need to create multiple works, but you definitely can! The prompt sheet that you receive will have multiple tropes, ships, etc., so if you want you can pick another from there, or alternatively you can message us and we can pair you with another person's prompts :)What if I sign up and don’t finish in time?That’s okay as long as you notify us ahead of time whether you need to drop out, or you need an extension on the posting date.Can I still join after sign-ups are closed?Yes, you can participate by creating based on somebody else’s idea, though you won’t be able to give your ideas as all of the swaps will be finalised already.Is there a word limit with the fics?We will ask that they have to be longer than 5k words, but other than that write to your heart's content!Can I do both art and a fic?Sure!Can I speak to the person I was swapped with before posting?You can! We ask that you don’t share drafts with them before posting to keep it a surprise, but you can definitely talk and clue them in IF YOU WANT. You do not need to speak with the other person if you don’t want to. As long as you tag/mention/gift when posting, then that’s all that is needed.Can I post my art/fic before the deadline?We ask that you hold off until the deadline as we want to shower the fandom with many creative pieces during the posting week.Can I choose other ships/pairings/characters to be the main focus that is not on the sheet I receive?We paired you with ships/pairings that you said you would like to write. You can definitely add additional characters, ships, pairings, but the main focus must be from the list that you receive.Do I need to post my finished work publicly?That would be the aim, yes.
